Solving problems for companies through gender-diversity

How does your company measure up?

Gender diversity = better teams

Research shows that diverse teams improve culture, creativity and profitability. Diverse teams are significantly better at problem solving and innovating than homogeneous teams.

Yet in the subculture of technology there remains a distinct lack of gender diversity and women are noticeably absent from leadership too.

In addition to the context of higher performing teams, consider also the context of the 4th industrial revolution whereby our world increasingly lives from and is lead by technology platforms, systems and applications. We cannot afford for half the world’s population to be left out of these developments.

Many large bodies of research have shown that diverse teams are higher performing and that balanced representation of women in leadership drives significantly higher profits.

Diversity is a global issue, recognised as a burning platform in progressive companies today.

Program 50/50

Simply put, Program 50/50 is an entirely unique certification program that enables companies to achieve gender-balance in their technology teams.

When an organisation signs up to Program 50/50 they discover and surface the underlying systemic and structural issues that are known to de-rail women in technology. After a deep-dive discovery exercise, clients are presented with a detailed view of where the issues lie and a clear roadmap they can then follow to remove these barriers.

Program 50/50 is based on a retention strategy that gets to the heart of the problem, ie the causes of the low representation of women in tech teams.
