The program requires them to work with Project F to identify and remove the systemic barriers for women in tech teams and leadership so that they can sustainably build gender-balanced teams. This is an investment in their future sustainability and one we are incredibly happy to see them take on.
The work on Program 50/50 is challenging and requires a consistent focus on structural change, removing bias from processes and systems and shifting the narrative on diversity and inclusion. The unique challenge of achieving gender balance within the subculture of technology has been made a strategic imperative so that Prospa can challenge the status quo in fintech and grow a healthily balanced business.

A bit about the role
As a Senior Salesforce Engineer at Prospa, you will be responsible for building fast, secure, scalable and maintainable applications that will make our business stand out from the crowd. You will drive efficiencies within the business and play an integral part in attracting great customers and partners.
What you’ll be doing
Build efficient, scalable, secure and reusable software responding to time and technical constraints
Perform code reviews for other team members' work, paying attention to patterns and practices of the team
Carry out story break down with a focus on simplicity, providing negotiation for sweating the right details to ensure short feedback loops to our customers
Host architecture and design sessions, where required, to explain the system being developed
Ensure that systems have the correct level of logging and monitoring to support our customers in times of need
Keep abreast of technology changes and ensure Prospa is on the leading edge of the technical landscape
Identify and address any performance issues that arise
Keep security and customer privacy front of mind throughout the SDLC
Ensure constant communication and collaboration with team members to ensure that difficult problems are addressed in the best possible manner
A bit about you
A minimum of 4 years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer
Total experience of 6+ years in software application development
Strong working knowledge of the Salesforce platform, as well as Apex, Triggers, Batch Jobs, Visualforce and Salesforce Lightning
A very good understanding of “Apex Design Best Practices”
Experience of developing applications on multiple Salesforce Clouds like Service/Sales Cloud
An analytical and creative approach to problem-solving, as well as the attitude to take ownership of software delivery
