Lead Data Engineer
Prospa and Project F
Prospa, as a fintech business, has been on a journey to become more product lead and this has filtered down to a laser focus on the development, design and build of the product that sets them apart in the market. Co-Founders Beau & Greg are genuinely passionate about the culture they’re building and are 100% up for doing the work to achieve a level of gender balance that typically eludes the tech environment. Co-CEO Beau Bertoli is the Executive Sponsor of Program 50/50. Their CTO Shai Haim and VP Engineering, Ted Tencza have lead the drive to sign-up to Program 50/50 and make this program of work a reality. Shai and Ted are both long-standing active members of the Men Championing Change community.
The program requires them to work with Project F to identify and remove the systemic barriers for women in tech teams and leadership so that they can sustainably build gender-balanced teams. This is an investment in their future sustainability and one we are incredibly happy to see them take on.
The work on Program 50/50 is challenging and requires a consistent focus on structural change, removing bias from processes and systems and shifting the narrative on diversity and inclusion. The unique challenge of achieving gender balance within the subculture of technology has been made a strategic imperative so that Prospa can challenge the status quo in fintech and grow a healthily balanced business.
